weekend in bend: part 2

first off, i have to say that these pictures really don't do the town justice-- the town is so vibrant and quaint and (at this time of year) filled with flowers.
here is a look at some of the pictures we took:

the downtown area.

a yummy fruit and cheese plate we enjoyed.

the best meal we ate while we were there was at five- fusion & sushi bar. we loved the interiors, and in particular, this water feature--a suspended glass ceiling filled with water.

across the bridge, and seperated from downtown by a few bridges and lovely parks, is the drake park neighborhood historic district.

you can catch glimpse of some of the houses on the river from a park adjacent to downtown.

we spent a little file driving around the neighborhood and taking some pictures before we headed out of town. here are a few of our favorite houses...

(this one is my favorite! notice the built-in brick planter to the right side of the porch? LOVE.

i hope you enjoyed the little tour!

  1. Beautiful Autumn! Love the quaint feel, and those homes are gorgeous!

  2. I really like the stone brick look on one of the houses. Great pics by the way.
