fresh flowers

i was at the grocery store yesterday, and saw something i just couldn't pass up:
a dozen roses for $3.50 AND an additional bouquet for $2.99. how could i possibly resist?

grocery market bouquets usually come with an assortment of flowers that are rather bold and bright.
whenever i buy these bouquets, i separate the flowers into two categories: the flowers i want to keep, and...um...the ugly flowers that don't "go" with the main bouquet i want to create. i take the "orphan" flowers and create a small arrangement.

i mixed the roses + the yellow flowers and filler from the secondary bouquet + some daisies that i had growing in my backyard to create this arrangement.

the result is a happy, cheerful flower arrangement that is doing the perfect job of adding a dose of "summer" to my office. and all for under $7. man, gotta love those grocery store bouquets!

  6. Hi,

Fresh flowers are undoubtedly the most common form of home decoration especially for the purpose of adding color, freshness and zest to the home. They are also a symbol of affection and given during times of sadness. Thanks a lot...
