hi friends!
i am still enjoying the sun and sand of hawaii, and will not be back until
tuesday, but i wanted to let you know about a collaboration i am working on
with 11 other amazing bloggers. over the next while, we are all creating mood boards for
several rooms, starting this week with a master bedroom. i wanted to give you a sneak peek
at the inspiration and color palette for my mood board:
i took the above picture at waianapanapa state park near hana in maui. it is also known as the home
to the world famous black sand beach. i was totally blown away by the colors here! the water and sky, in shades of blue ranging from whisper-soft to deep teal....the greys and blacks of the rocks, and every variety of green--from bright lime to deep avacado and olive in the surrounding vegetation.
it is one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen.
