checkerboard floors

i am a true devotee of 
checkerboard floors.
in the 5 houses we have
lived in, 4 of them had some
form of a cherckerboard floor.
in house #1 my kitchen had a
 black and white checkerboard floor.
in house #2, the powder room had
a wood checkerboard floor.
in house #4, i have a two tone grey and
tan checkerboard floor in the kitchen,
and we had the maple and walnut checkerboard floor
entry floor in house #5.
so, it was no suprose that as i was sorting 
through my files, i found some
checkerboard floors...



aint they pudry?

    yes, they are purdy!

    love them. i like the traditional black & white, but also am a fan of the color checks too!

    They are purdy. I have never had one, but I do think they look amazing, so you never know.

    good combination of colors... but the traditional black & white floor is still dramatic to me!
