affordable find: metal drum table


i have been an admirer of the costello iron side table from arteriors for a long time. but at $492, it wasn't going to find a home at my house anytime soon.




imagine my surprise when i stumbled on this spanish colonial drum table on clearance at restoration hardware for $49. YES....$49. (guess who bought a pair?)


AND it is available in nickel.

    Almost bought them but they are TINY! Do you think they can really work as side tables?

      i have a similarly sized table in my family room right now...it is beside an upholstered chair, and we put drinks on it while we are lounging or watching tv. i am planning on using these tables in much the same way---beside a chair or together, in front of an ottoman or the fireplace.
